Wonderful little machine that needed a little TLC to rise to the occasion. I am working through a backlog of cut down trees and branches from mixed sources. Dry conifers crated a lot of dust that led to several unblockages but when choosing the branches with more care I had my first cubic meter in no time.
So I suggest assemble fuel up and let it run for a few minutes and then start with 2 -3 cm diam branches and no leaves. Take care of the whiplash with longer branches and try to avoid overloading with dry leaves.
Ordered the Crytec CRC200X after much research . Was originally going to purchase a Woodmaster but was put off by a Youtube video implying the blades weren't durable enough. Crytec communication, delivery and follow up to a minor issue handled superbly by Sam . The chipper was easily assembled, started first time and has performed excellently in the domestic use it was purchased for . Only used for 3 or 4 hours so far but Im very happy with its performance and confident the support is there if required moving forward. Great machine.
The images speak for themselves, this machine is top quality. I took my garden from the first to the last image by myself (over a few of days) with a couple of chainsaws, and my newly purchased CRC200X. The only thing the machine isn't keen on is branches with a curve to them, as they can bind in the chute, but a slight cut to straighten them slightly does the job and they whiz through. Other than that, you can sling almost everything into it. Probably one of the best bits of kit I have ever purchased.

Excellent product and service from Crytec. I chose the collect service and was able to collect within a couple of hours. The team were extremely helpful and even loaded the two boxes into the back of my car. With regards to the machine itself, it’s a ferocious! It easily chipped everything it’s supposed to (sub 60mm branches) with ease. Don’t over load it and feed larger branches one at a time and you’ll get minimal stalls. Once you get used to the setup and start (this is my first ever petrol machine) it’s very easy to use. As always, safety first, and kit up with proper PPE as some wood branches can fly back out of the feeder. Additionally, I found some screws can come loose with usage vibration, so check EVERYTHING is nice and tight before EACH use. On a side note, I had one missing screw from my machine and rang Crytec to advise. Once the correct part was confirmed via a photo, it was dispatched Royal Mail 24hour and I received it next day ! Now that’s great customer care!
Overall, it’s an awesome machine and would recommend Crytec to others - thanks guys !
Response to my initial email enquiry was within 2 minutes. I ordered a chipper on Thursday morning and it arrived on my drive on Friday lunchtime…fully assembled which was more than I was expecting. The machine is great and my subsequent queries have been responded to straight away too. Very impressed. Well done crytec
