Great box, needs better wheels.

Great box, lots of drawers and looks good too. Runners are good. struts on upper lid good. Wheels…. Bad.

Excellent box for a very reasonable price.

I've worked as a professional mechanic for 30 years so I've seen a few boxes in my time. I bought this as a replacement for my old trusty box which had just ran out of space.
I think that this Crytec box is excellent value for money. It looks good, and so far seems to operate fine for my purposes. To be fair it's not constructed as heavily as a more premium box from the likes of Snap-on but it's a small fraction of the price of one of those boxes and it seems adequately strong enough from what I can see.
I think one of the advantages of this particular box is that it has a greater quantity of shallower draws which means the thickness of the steel used is less likely to be an issue because the load is spread over more draws. Plus for the average mechanic more shallower draws are of more use for the tools I use like spanners, ratchets, sockets etc than a few deep draws that can really only hold boxes of stuff.
The box was delivered on time and well packaged on a pallet with no damage. Very pleased with the service and would certainly recommend Crytec to anyone.

Response to my initial email enquiry was within 2 minutes. I ordered a chipper on Thursday morning and it arrived on my drive on Friday lunchtime…fully assembled which was more than I was expecting. The machine is great and my subsequent queries have been responded to straight away too. Very impressed. Well done crytec
